Trustee Roles We are currently seeking trustees for our management committee. These are voluntary positions. A charity trustee is a specific role - and collectively, the management committee is responsible for: Ensuring the charity is carrying out its purposes for the public benefit Ensuring the charity complies with its governing document and the law Ensuring the charity’s resources are managed responsibly Ensuring the charity is accountable An effective management committee is made up of a range of people with differing skills who are able to understand and contribute to the charity’s aims.
